What to cook today

Had some chicken cutlets last night for dinner. One of my favorite things to eat and easy to make. So where do I start? This whole thing happened out of me trying to help my mother re-write all her recipes that are in notebooks that are tattered and dog-eared. I'll more than likely choose the basic recipes at first. Since it is holiday time there are probably going to be alot of cookie and sweets recipes too.
